At The Great Godmothers, we prayerfully and thoughtfully review every application to ensure alignment, readiness, and mutual commitment. While we would love to serve every woman who applies, acceptance into the program is not automatic.

Here’s what you can expect:

1. Submit an Interest Form

Complete our Goddaughter Interest Form so we can learn more about you, your story, and the areas where you’re seeking support.

2. Program Lead Review

Our Program Lead carefully reviews each submission to assess alignment with our mission, capacity, and program structure.

3. Welcome & Alignment Call (All Applicants)

Every applicant will receive a personal call from our team.

This conversation is designed to:

• Get to know you more personally

• Understand where you are in your life and faith journey

• Clarify expectations and program commitments

• Discern readiness and mutual alignment

Following this conversation, you will be notified whether you are accepted into the current program cycle, placed on a waitlist, or encouraged toward other resources that may better fit your current season.

Please know: Not being accepted into the program at this time does not diminish your value, worth, or potential. Sometimes timing, readiness, or program capacity simply require a different next step — and we are committed to honoring you with honesty and care.

4. Acceptance & Goal Setting

If accepted, we will formally welcome you into the program and work with you to establish clear, measurable goals rooted in the GREAT framework:

5. Godmother Matching

You will be prayerfully matched with a Godmother who aligns with your needs and goals. Together, you will begin a long-term mentoring relationship focused on execution, accountability, and transformation.

The Great Godmothers is a covenant-style mentorship program, not a crisis-response service or short-term assistance program. We are committed to walking alongside women who are ready to actively participate in their growth journey.
